About the HENCH Project

Aaron Carnahan RCpN NMP – The HENCH Project Clinical Lead, is a qualified Registered Nurse (General Adult) and a registered member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), the professional governing body for nurses. All undertakings of The HENCH Project are in strict adherence to the NMC professional code of conduct.

The standards of any clinical work performed will meet those outlined by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE), the Department of Health (DoH), Public Health England (PHE) and the National Treatment Agency (NTA) of the NHS.

Aaron has worked extensively within the NHS, specialising in Anabolic/Androgenic Steroid (AAS) and Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs (IPEDs) of which he was the professional lead for the Substance Misuse Service.

He has completed studies in post-graduate advanced pharmacology at Wolverhampton University, is a qualified Nurse Independent Prescriber and registered with the NMC. This entitles the issuing of private prescriptions. Professional indemnity insurance is provided by the Royal College of Nurses.
